A leather mantle style Gorget, designed to help mount our shoulder armor options more comfortably, or to function as it's own piece of armor.
Each mantle is made out of 8-10 ounce latigo cowhide and attached via a single buckle strap. Each can be made with 2 holes on top of each shoulders where you can mount shoulder armor pieces either via chicago screws or ties, or can be worn on it's own.
Like all our armor pieces, you have the option of having the mantle hardened with wax, or left unhardened.
These gorgets are not NOT* legal armor for most fighting groups (HEMA, SCA, etc.) as they do not offer any neck protection. If your group only requires collar bone protection, these pieces may qualify, but check with your group to be certain.

Why so expensive?
Our items are all made by hand. We do not mass produce anything, and every item has been designed, tested, and created by us. A lot of time and effort has gone into every item we offer, and we do our best to make sure that everything that leaves our shop lives up to our standards and hopefully yours.
Can you make a sheath for a knife other than the ones offered here?
We only offer a few different sheath options, but we operate out of a large brick & mortar cutlery store, so there's a chance we have the knife you're looking for. Contact us to set up a custom order.
Do your holsters meet IDPA regulations?
All of our belt holsters meet IDPA regulations, but our shoulder holsters do not.
Are your leather sheaths lined with Kydex?
To put in bluntly, if your leather sheath does what it's supposed to do, you shouldn't need to put a different sheath inside of it. Our leather sheaths function very well being made out of leather, and our kydex sheaths work very well without a leather lining.
Does the knife come with the sheath?
No. Each item is for the sheath/scabbard/holster itself, no knives, swords, or guns are included with any purchase.
Design Changes?
We occasionally update/improve the design of some items, so it is possible that the photos on some listings might not be entirely up to date.
