This is a handmade leather sheath for the Benchmade 15500-1 meatcrafter knife
This sheath is an alternative and improvement over the kydex sheath that comes stock from benchmade.
It is made out of 8-10 ounce latigo cowhide, and is available in a few different methods of suspension.
The "scout loops" are meant to carry the knife horizontally, and can either snap closed and be dedicated to Right or Left hand draw; or be a solid ambidextrous loop that you thread your belt through and can be carried in either direction.
We offer both silver and black snaps. Let us know in the order notes when ordering what color you would like. If you do not note your preference we will give you the snap that bests suits the color of your sheath (black with black, silver with brown etc.)

Why so expensive?
Our items are all made by hand. We do not mass produce anything, and every item has been designed, tested, and created by us. A lot of time and effort has gone into every item we offer, and we do our best to make sure that everything that leaves our shop lives up to our standards and hopefully yours.
Can you make a sheath for a knife other than the ones offered here?
We only offer a few different sheath options, but we operate out of a large brick & mortar cutlery store, so there's a chance we have the knife you're looking for. Contact us to set up a custom order.
Do your holsters meet IDPA regulations?
All of our belt holsters meet IDPA regulations, but our shoulder holsters do not.
Are your leather sheaths lined with Kydex?
To put in bluntly, if your leather sheath does what it's supposed to do, you shouldn't need to put a different sheath inside of it. Our leather sheaths function very well being made out of leather, and our kydex sheaths work very well without a leather lining.
Does the knife come with the sheath?
No. Each item is for the sheath/scabbard/holster itself, no knives, swords, or guns are included with any purchase.
Design Changes?
We occasionally update/improve the design of some items, so it is possible that the photos on some listings might not be entirely up to date.
