This is a handmade horizontal leather sheath for the Chris Reeve Nyala.
This sheath is an alternative to the vertical leather sheath that comes standard from Chris Reeve.
It is made out of 8-10 ounce latigo cowhide, and features a 1.5" wide strap that snaps closed to carry the knife horizontally on your belt, or with a solid 1.5" wide loop, which allows the knife to be carried on the Right or Left side, but does not unsnap, so must be threaded onto your belt. Each style comes with a snap closure loop around the grip of the knife.
You now have the option of having the sheath made for either the drop point or Insingo blade
The sheath is meant to be carried in the back, keep this in mind when choosing the Left or Right handed snap closure option.
We offer both silver and black snaps. Let us know in the order notes when ordering what color you would like. If you do not note your preference we will give you the snap that bests suits the color of your sheath (black with black, silver with brown etc.)

Why so expensive?
Our items are all made by hand. We do not mass produce anything, and every item has been designed, tested, and created by us. A lot of time and effort has gone into every item we offer, and we do our best to make sure that everything that leaves our shop lives up to our standards and hopefully yours.
Can you make a sheath for a knife other than the ones offered here?
We only offer a few different sheath options, but we operate out of a large brick & mortar cutlery store, so there's a chance we have the knife you're looking for. Contact us to set up a custom order.
Do your holsters meet IDPA regulations?
All of our belt holsters meet IDPA regulations, but our shoulder holsters do not.
Are your leather sheaths lined with Kydex?
To put in bluntly, if your leather sheath does what it's supposed to do, you shouldn't need to put a different sheath inside of it. Our leather sheaths function very well being made out of leather, and our kydex sheaths work very well without a leather lining.
Does the knife come with the sheath?
No. Each item is for the sheath/scabbard/holster itself, no knives, swords, or guns are included with any purchase.

We occasionally update/improve the design of some items, so it is possible that the photos on some listings might not be entirely up to date.
