This is a heavy duty (0.80) kydex sheath for the Benchmade 162 and 162-1 Bushcrafter series knives.
The sheath is an improvement over the thin kydex sheath that comes stock from Benchmade. It is available in a variety of colors and can be ordered with either a vertical leather belt loop, Vertical Belt loop with a snap closure retention strap, vertical belt loop with an integrated firesteel loop, a vertical loop with both a retention strap and firesteel loop, or a tek lok, with or without a firesteel loop. The tek lok cannot be made with a retention loop.
Generally speaking, the Black and OD colored kydex will come with black leather for the loop, and the two brown colors will come with brown leather. For non-Standard kydex and leather colors, check out our Kydex/leather color listing for the option to upgrade.
We offer both silver and black snaps. Let us know in the order notes when ordering what color you would like. If you do not note your preference we will give you the snap that bests suits the color of your sheath (black with black, silver with brown etc.)

Why so expensive?
Our items are all made by hand. We do not mass produce anything, and every item has been designed, tested, and created by us. A lot of time and effort has gone into every item we offer, and we do our best to make sure that everything that leaves our shop lives up to our standards and hopefully yours.
Can you make a sheath for a knife other than the ones offered here?
We only offer a few different sheath options, but we operate out of a large brick & mortar cutlery store, so there's a chance we have the knife you're looking for. Contact us to set up a custom order.
Do your holsters meet IDPA regulations?
All of our belt holsters meet IDPA regulations, but our shoulder holsters do not.
Are your leather sheaths lined with Kydex?
To put in bluntly, if your leather sheath does what it's supposed to do, you shouldn't need to put a different sheath inside of it. Our leather sheaths function very well being made out of leather, and our kydex sheaths work very well without a leather lining.
Does the knife come with the sheath?
No. Each item is for the sheath/scabbard/holster itself, no knives, swords, or guns are included with any purchase.
Design Changes?
We occasionally update/improve the design of some items, so it is possible that the photos on some listings might not be entirely up to date.

Very nice craftsmanship. Colours look spot on, looks very professional. I would have liked to have the option to add a snap closure around the handle for the tek lok sheath with FS loop. I will carry it on my back, horizontally on the belt and draw it from the side. I like the idea of having 2 things securing my favourite knife, even if it makes it a little more bulky. That being said the sheath is extremely tight around the handle maybe to the point of damaging it if you pull it a lot. I do like the sheath quite a bit, I may modify it slightly though to suit my needs better. Great sheath! Happy with the purchase.

Well made. Good fit and finish. Retains the knife well. Snap loop is spot on. Fire steel loop holds large ferro rod nicely.
