Each pair is made out of 2 layers of 8-10 ounce vegetable tanned cowhide that is stamped with the design and hand dyed a rustic brown color. The tree and wrist scrolls are then hand painted silver.
Each pair also come with a pair of quilted leather underbracers that lace closed for the main vambraces to buckle over. These will generally come with our standard strap buckles, but more screen accurate options are available. Feel free to message us for details.
These are made in one size, but we will adjust the strap lengths and underbracer size to fit you better.
For the arm measurements, please measure the circumference around your wrist just behind where it bends, and your forearm at its widest point.

Why so expensive?
Our items are all made by hand. We do not mass produce anything, and every item has been designed, tested, and created by us. A lot of time and effort has gone into every item we offer, and we do our best to make sure that everything that leaves our shop lives up to our standards and hopefully yours.
Can you make a sheath for a knife other than the ones offered here?
We only offer a few different sheath options, but we operate out of a large brick & mortar cutlery store, so there's a chance we have the knife you're looking for. Contact us to set up a custom order.
Do your holsters meet IDPA regulations?
All of our belt holsters meet IDPA regulations, but our shoulder holsters do not.
Are your leather sheaths lined with Kydex?
To put in bluntly, if your leather sheath does what it's supposed to do, you shouldn't need to put a different sheath inside of it. Our leather sheaths function very well being made out of leather, and our kydex sheaths work very well without a leather lining.
Does the knife come with the sheath?
No. Each item is for the sheath/scabbard/holster itself, no knives, swords, or guns are included with any purchase.

I cannot praise these vambraces enough!! They are beautiful, fit perfectly and tight, and of my Aragorn cosplay, they received the most complements. Without a doubt they are the key aspect of the cosplay and are absolutely gorgeous.

Very very well made and arrived exactly how I expected it to feel. If you plan on wearing anything underneath, make sure to adjust the size accordingly to what you plan to wear. Overall 11/10.

Awesome quality, the padding to place over it is awesome. Only had some trouble where the padding doesn’t seem to have enough lacing lengths for an arigorn overcoat to ride underneath it unless you wish to remove the additional padding and just stick to the arm guards. Excellent quality for leather and the white parts and well painted on and under hot days they work rather well.

Now I own the Exiled King Vambraces and the Exiled King Quiver and the quality of both of these products is absolute peak leatherwork. Grommets really goes above and beyond to make their lotr replicas movie accurate and these vambraces really bring my Aragorn getup to life. High marks from a return customer and would definitely recommend Grommets for anyone who cares about quality.
