Essentially our leather chest protector, with an added back piece, this armor works well to protect your upper chest during HEMA/ Sport Fencing or during Larp/Cosplay.
This piece pairs well with a kidney belt to offer full torso protection and superior mobility over a full length cuirass.
Made from 8-10 ounce latigo cowhide, and secured via 4 buckle straps which make it very adjustable and comfortable.
You have the option of 1 or two layers, or to have it wax hardened or left unhardened. If you plan on using it as actual protection, we recommend the hardened option.
For a more tailored fit, please include a measurement of the circumference of your chest when ordering.
If you’d like the different layers in your 2 layer armor to be different colors, let me know in the order notes.

Why so expensive?
Our items are all made by hand. We do not mass produce anything, and every item has been designed, tested, and created by us. A lot of time and effort has gone into every item we offer, and we do our best to make sure that everything that leaves our shop lives up to our standards and hopefully yours.
Can you make a sheath for a knife other than the ones offered here?
We only offer a few different sheath options, but we operate out of a large brick & mortar cutlery store, so there's a chance we have the knife you're looking for. Contact us to set up a custom order.
Do your holsters meet IDPA regulations?
All of our belt holsters meet IDPA regulations, but our shoulder holsters do not.
Are your leather sheaths lined with Kydex?
To put in bluntly, if your leather sheath does what it's supposed to do, you shouldn't need to put a different sheath inside of it. Our leather sheaths function very well being made out of leather, and our kydex sheaths work very well without a leather lining.
Does the knife come with the sheath?
No. Each item is for the sheath/scabbard/holster itself, no knives, swords, or guns are included with any purchase.
Design Changes?
We occasionally update/improve the design of some items, so it is possible that the photos on some listings might not be entirely up to date.
